We’re excited to announce that VEGA will be making its debut exhibiting at All-Energy for the very first time, joining the UK’s leading renewables and low-carbon energy exhibition at SEC Glasgow on 14-15 May 2025.

At Stand P61, we’ll be showcasing how our level and pressure measurement technology is supporting the energy sector’s transition toward cleaner, safer, and more efficient solutions. Our products are designed for the most demanding renewable energy applications, including:

• Energy from Waste (EfW)

EfW plants operate under tough conditions, where reliability and performance are critical. VEGAPULS 6X radar sensors deliver accurate level measurement in fuel bunkers, combustion chambers, and ash silos, even in high dust, heat, and vapour conditions.

VEGA solutions also help EfW plants significantly reduce wash water usage in bottom ash quenching systems, thanks to precise level control. One UK site reduced its water use by over 15 million litres per year using VEGAPULS radar—a major cost and environmental win.

• Hydrogen:

From cryogenic storage and electrolysis to high-pressure pipelines, VEGA enables safe and efficient operation with reliable radar, guided wave radar, and pressure sensors.

Our differential pressure transmitters are also ideal for hydrogen applications such as electrolyser cell monitoring and coolant circuits, where robust, accurate, and compact measurement is essential.

Whether aggressive media, an oxygen/hydrogen overlay, or low dielectric constants are involved: the entire range of hydrogen applications is covered by VEGA’s trusted solutions in level and pressure measurement.

• Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS):

Carbon capture processes present a wide range of challenges—from extremely high pressures and corrosive media to foam, build-up, and temperature fluctuations. VEGA’s robust level radar and pressure instruments ensure accurate, continuous measurement in all key CCS stages, including:

• Absorber and stripper columns
• Intermediate CO₂ tanks
• Compressor and liquefaction systems
• Pipelines and injection wells for long-term storage

• Biomass:

Whether using radiometric measurement for difficult biomass fuels or radar and pressure sensors for bulk solid handling, VEGA ensures reliable operation under changing media, build-up, and temperature conditions. For wood chip bunkers, the VEGAPULS 6X radar sensor delivers highly accurate level measurement, even in the presence of dust, irregular surface profiles, and challenging filling dynamics.

• Biogas:

From fermenters and digesters to gas storage and flare stacks, VEGA instruments provide continuous, stable level and pressure measurement in biogas systems. Our sensors are designed for aggressive gases, foaming media, and challenging conditions—ensuring safe, efficient biogas production.
